I
would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to a few people,
for their contributions and time involved in the content of
my genealogy database on this website:
First of all, thanks to my aunt Mary Mehm Pahler, my father's
sister, for her handwritten notes of family group sheets that
she worked on over the years, until her death in 1983. Fortunately,
a copy of this was saved, and passed on to me my by my aunt
Jeanette Mehm Zamites, in the early 1990's, when I first started
this project.
Thank you also, to my Jacksonville friend, Marge Gray, for
her contributions to my genealogy knowledge over the years.
She's from Scranton, PA, and keeps an eye out for my surnames
and obituaries for me. If it wasn't for her I never would
have found my cousin Neil Gallagher. She came across Neil's
family tree information on Family Tree Maker's web site.
Thanks to my cousin Fran (Tim) Klinges, in Wilkes-Barre, PA,
for his continued efforts over the years in researching new
leads for us at the library and Court House on our Irish ancestors,
as well as my German requests. This has been a big help to
me, living so far away from my home town of Wilkes-Barre.
Thanks also, to Donna Burke, a cousin in Wilkes-Barre, for
her extensive contributions to our Martin/Kline/Krachenfels
German family history.
Two
Wilkes-Barre distant cousins have been most helpful sharing
their information on the Other Mehm family of Wilkes-Barre,
and helping tie all the Wilkes-Barre Mehms together. Bil Corcoran,
a descendant of Franklin Mehm and Margaret Storz; and Chris
Langdon, a descendant of John Kline and Elizabeth Biggins.
Without the efforts of all these people, I'd still be scratching
the surface.
